Please follow the links below for more information on land in general and Gladwish Land Sales Ltd in particular. |
OUR LAND DETAILS All land sold by Gladwish Land Sales Ltd is simply sold as either being Agricultural or Forestry land or a mixture of both. Although you may apply for Planning Permission or Change of use, Gladwish Land Sales Ltd do not imply that permission or Change of use will be granted. We are happy to help plot owners link up together to pool a collective knowledge and research and to apply for Change of use. Please ask us if there is an active plot owners association at a site you are considering to purchase land. RESEARCH ONLINE There is always a search on the internet about change of use and what one can do with land. There are many website's out there with advice. It would be unethical of us to plagiarize their information or lead you to buy land just because of the information about Change of use, planning permission or leisurely pursuits involving caravans or motor homes found on such website's, but it is free information! Obviously there are paid services and Government bodies (local borough councils) who may be able to give you the advice and direction you need to take - ask for information in writing from them. Some councils are more helpful (informed) than others. Can Greenbelt Land be Developed? 5 years ago, Gordon Brown announced millions of house needed to be built, some on Greenbelt land - this has been stated again in 2011/2012. This was to accommodate the rising population. So there is always hope and one can never say never. I see how much towns, villages and cities have grown, so I see at first hand it does happen. This is not to say our land is on Green Belt, because most of it is simply agricultural land. I'm sure we all agree on the idea of Green Belt: it can simply be moved - problem solved : ) Governments and local councils we vote and pay for have control over these issues and building houses and infrastructure to support them will inevitably benefit everybody; whether it is boosting the building industry (employment and manufacture), adding new council tax payers to the community and of course providing affordable housing for the citizens of this fine country. We live in a democracy, a free country where we vote for a Government to serve it's people and make favorable changes to benefit us: The Citizens, our environment and our human rights. In the mean time: Use the land to grow organic food, keep Bee's and animals. This will help reduce Britain's carbon footprint and Britain's need to import such a high percentage of food. With such high levels of import dependency we are incredibly dependent on oil to fuel our food supplies. Consider using the land as a source for renewable energy, like solar panels or wind turbines. Planning permission is not bias towards man or mankind. |
